Befuddled Bears has been released on the XBox 360! You can play it from the indie games menu, or download it from this link! There is a free trial where you can try out the first two story chapters and even enjoy some multiplayer action!
What is Befuddled Bears? It’s an shooter-puzzle game with inspiration from games such as Smash Brothers, Bust a Move (Puzzle Bobble), and classical RPGs. You help guide seriously befuddled bears as they strive to set the highest scores possible!
Pick from many bears, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, and pair them with a wide variety of items. These items range from benign cookies — granting a powerup on consumption — to explosive rockets launched out of bears’ personal tanks! Some items manipulate the very fabric of time and space, transforming targets and changing the laws of physics.

Rain
One day, a sweet little bear appeared in the sweet little village of Bear’s Crossing. Mysteriously, this little bear had no recollection of where he came from, or even who he was! The magnanimous village artisan took the little bear in and named him Rain.
Rain spent many idyllic days in this little village and even began to call it home. That is, until an evil mastermind destroyed Bear’s Crossing and Rain swore revenge only to find out he is the chosen one destined to save the world from an apocalyptic invasion of demons from another dimension. But, he’s taking a break from all that to play Befuddled Bears with us!
Every bear’s dream! Eris has stumbled upon a giant stockpile of cookies. Maybe they’ll last her until supper!
Those bees from before are back again. Don’t they know its rude to point those things at guests - even if said guest invited himself to the party…
Eris is also a great space ship pilot! Here she makes her get-away with a cargo bay full of loot and cookies. Watch out for the space slug!
Luck Cookie
There’s one thing bears hate more than just about anything: bad luck. It just ruins their day. So what, they break a mirror - big deal - they shouldn’t have to endure seven years of tripping in puddles, stepping in paddies and running into “old friends.” To make things worse, you can’t just blow up stuff to help. Seven years of bad luck is seven years of bad luck, no matter how many bombs you light. But, of course, bad luck can be surpassed by good old bear ingenuity! Simply bake a cookie with a salad’s worth of four-leaf clovers. That’s got to at least shave off a day of bad luck, right?
These bees think they can give Grills trouble? Pshhh.
